When your child needs support, you deserve a clear path forward. Whether you’re exploring therapy, evaluations, or other pediatric services, having reliable options in one place can bring clarity and confidence.
That’s what Nested Collective is here for, to help families find care they trust and help providers connect with the families they’re here to serve.
We’re sharing what to know, what to look for, and how to take the next step.

What Are Pediatric Support Services?
Pediatric support services are designed to meet children where they are — emotionally, physically, developmentally, and behaviorally. These services often include:
Occupational Therapy (OT) - Builds motor skills, sensory regulation, and independence in daily routines.
Speech Therapy - Supports communication, feeding challenges, and language development.
Feeding Support - Helps children with limited diets, ARFID, or oral-motor difficulties.
Developmental Therapy - Offers early support in areas like play, language, and social connection.
Behavioral and Mental Health Support - Includes play therapy, talk therapy, family counseling, and more.
Educational Support - Covers evaluations, executive function coaching, and school accommodations (IEPs and 504s).

Choosing the Right Provider
With the right list in hand, the next step is figuring out what’s right for your child. Consider:
Your child’s current needs - What challenges are showing up? What kind of support might help?
Your priorities - Do you prefer in-person or virtual? Do you need someone nearby?
Insurance or budget fit - Are you looking for in-network care, sliding scale options, or private pay?
The provider’s approach - Look for someone who feels like a match for your family’s values and style.

Why Early Support Matters
Your pediatrician can be a valuable partner. They may notice early signs of developmental delays, recommend evaluations, or refer you to specialists.
That said, you don’t need to wait for a diagnosis to get support. If you’ve noticed something that feels off, or you just want to understand your child more deeply, seeking help early can make a big difference.
Early support builds confidence, skills, and resilience. And it gives parents tools, too.

The Power of Community
Finding services is one thing. Feeling supported is another. Many of our listings come from families who’ve been there. And we’re always adding more, based on the providers you trust and recommend.
If you’ve worked with a pediatric professional who made a difference in your family’s life, let us know. We’d love to include them.
